Always Keep Me is operated by Jittercat, registered and operating in the Republic of South Africa. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Always Keep Me, we collect:

• Your email address (for account management, order confirmation, and retrieval)
• Audio or video files you upload
• Custom text and design preferences you provide
• Payment and transaction information, processed securely by Paystack (we do not store your card details)
• Basic usage and technical data (e.g. browser type, device information) for security and service improvement

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to generate your personalized memory image, store your audio for QR code access, process payment, provide customer support, communicate with you about your order, and maintain the security of the Service. We do not use your data for marketing, and we do not sell it to advertisers or share it with data brokers.

4. Data Storage & Security

Audio files and generated images are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not guarantee permanent storage of content. You are responsible for downloading and retaining your own copies of anything you want to keep — do not rely on our servers as your only storage.

5. QR Code Access

Anyone who scans the QR code on your printed keepsake can hear the linked audio — no login is required. This is intentional, as the keepsake is designed to be shareable. Be mindful of where you display or share the physical image if privacy matters to you. Once a QR code has been scanned and its link cached or saved by someone else, we have no ability to control or delete that external copy.

6. Raiden, Our AI Chat Assistant

Our website chat assistant, Raiden, is powered by a third-party AI provider. Messages you send to Raiden are processed by that provider under their own privacy terms. We do not use your chat conversations for marketing, and legitimate support conversations are not shared beyond what's needed to answer your question.

Malicious or abusive inputs (for example, attempts to exploit or attack the Service through the chat interface) may be logged and retained for security purposes, consistent with our Terms of Use.

7. Consent for Voice Uploads

By uploading an audio or video file, you confirm that you have obtained consent from any person whose voice or likeness is included in the recording.

8. Your Rights & Deletion

You can permanently delete your content at any time using our self-service deletion page at alwayskeep.me/delete, or by emailing [email protected] with your payment reference. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: your audio, generated images, and QR code access are permanently removed and cannot be recovered by you or by our support team.

Backup copies may persist briefly in our backup systems, and we may retain certain transaction records for accounting or legal compliance purposes. We recommend downloading and saving anything you want to keep before requesting deletion.

9. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers strictly as needed to operate the Service (e.g. Paystack for payments, Cloudflare for hosting), or where required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above.
